In 2009, during the summer, Ibrahimovic then moved to Barcaelona. This move is famously one of the most costly transfers to ever take place in soccer.
This move from Inter Millan to Barcelona is still today the 36th most expensive soccer transfer to ever take place. It cost 74.3 million euros. This is the equivalent of 73.8 million US dollars.
However, after completing just a single season, Ibrahimovic returned to the rival team, Milan. Here, in his debut season, he went on to win the Serie A title.
Two years later, in 2012, Ibrahimovic went on to join Paris Saint-Germain, where he helped to take them to their first Ligue 1 win in over 10 years.

Ibrahimovic stayed with the French team for four years. However, in 2016, he moved on. In 2016 he joined the Manchester United team.
In contrast to his hugely lucrative transfer from Milan to Barcelona, this transfer was done at no cost. In his first season with Manchester United, he was awarded with his first European trophy.
Ibrahimovic remained a player for Manchester United for 2 years. In 2018, however, he moved to an American club, LA Galaxy.
